‘O&A – Shake It’ is the first release on the newly formed ‘All Night Records’, the label started by O&A as an imprint to hustle out their own trax.

O&A, aka Osbourne & Anderson, is the collaborative pairing of Louis Osbourne & Jamie Anderson, who formed their musical partnership in 2010 from a mutual love of jackin house music. The guys have developed a sound that incorporates Chicago, Techy and Deep House. With releases already out on Play It Down, Made To Play, Jackmode, and more material signed to DJ Sneak’s ‘Magnetic Recordings’ scheduled to come out in August 2013, O&A have set their standards high.

‘All Night Records’ is a mechanism for the guys to release their own tracks as and when they want, hot of the desk. The aesthetic of the label is that of an underground 90’s Chicago House label, a label that will put out fresh tracky floor bombs with no fuss.

This version of the track was inspired by a random moment involving DJ Sneak and Ozzy Osbourne (Louis’ Dad). Louis was lying by the pool at his fathers house in Beverly Hills in the mid 90’s listening to a DJ Sneak tape he’d bought whilst touring the States. The Sneak tape dropped into a really tracky part of the mix (as DJ Sneak mixes do). Next a bewildered Ozzy runs out of the house asking “What’s that fucking racket?” Louis tells him it’s his DJ Sneak tape, Ozzy says “I thought the fucking pool pump had broken!”. So as an ode to the DJ Sneak Relief Records style trax from back in the day, and Ozzy’s psychosis, here we have ‘O&A - Shake It (The Pool Pump Fix)’, which needless to say is a heavy, tracky version of ‘Shake It’!
