So what could be more obvious than writing a farewell song for Laura Palmer? As a tribute to the recently deceased David Lynch, the lyrics of ‘Wild At Heart’ contain many quotes and film titles from his cinematic work.

      Roberto Bates has been nominated in 2024 for the 9th German Songwriting Award in Berlin for his work in the ‘Wedding Songs / Ballads’ category. With VIOLA, he has once again been able to win over an award-winning voice for the new song. As a lecturer and musician based at the Rock Pop Jazz Academy of Music, the Giessen-based artist works exclusively with students or alumni of this university.

      The remixes will be released on 26 September 2025.
